Milestone alert!
Two significant milestones were almost missed, but here they are on record, better late than never.
1) January 1, 2014 marked the first anniversary of photojourneying!
So here’s one tea light glowing valiantly and virtually in celebration of one year. Although the very first post appeared shortly before that, the official start was at the beginning of last year. The how and why of the beginning of this blog appears variously, such as on the about page and even on the gravatar page, so suffice it to say: It has been an enjoyable ride!
2) Two weeks ago the 50th post was published! Hurrah! Yay!
This of course leads to the most important point of all:
You! Thank you for your support, your visits, likes and remarks, and for following photojourneying. It is very much appreciated.
And although this is not a cat blog, Timmy is also sharing some purrs. For today is another milestone! And it is being celebrated right on time.
It is the first anniversary of his big move into the city, where he has taken up residence in our home and in our hearts.
Happy Anniversary Timmy! Thank you for all the smiles. It’s good to have you here.

I always forget my blog anniversaries. But I did remember Pippa’s Gotcha Day or rather, GotThem Day, this year 🙂 many happy returns to timmy. Snowy waves a cat-like paw at him (we were discussing today that we think he quite fancies being a cat!)

Thanks everyone for your kind wishes and support. I seem to have followed through with the ‘better late than never’ theme by neglecting to reply to comments previously. urk. my bad. 😦
As you probably know, this blog has been given the honourable status of ‘retirement’. All blogging now takes place over at pix & kardz, so I am usually never here anymore. I have still been receiving notification of new followers, however. Ironically, most followers of this blog joined up after the official notice of retirement was made. Hmmm… not quite sure what that exactly means. 🙂
However, onwards and forwards. In the meantime, Timmy’s second annniversary of Gotcha Day is fast approaching, and that prompted me to look here once more.
So thanks again for stopping by, be it ever so long ago. Your comments are very much appreciated. Timmy is keeping well at about eight and a half years of age, and he sends purrs.
